Lisa LeMaster
Lisa LeMaster Lisa LeMaster is President and Founder of The LeMaster Group, a communications firm that specializes in issue and strategy consulting, crisis communications and spokesperson training. Prior to The LeMaster Group, Ms. LeMaster headed Fairchild/LeMaster/Oppel for 16 years.

A nationally recognized communications consultant, Ms. LeMaster and her firms have assisted myriad companies, organizations and causes. She is considered a specialist in developing communication strategies.

Lisa and The LeMaster Group were recently awarded the Texas Public Relations Association’s Silver Spur Award for the company’s work in crisis communications for Halliburton. In 2003, Ms. LeMaster was retained by Baylor University to assist with communications regarding the murder of a basketball player. In 1999, she was selected to head the team that handled all aspects of communications for the construction and opening of American Airlines Center in downtown Dallas. In 1997, the Wall Street Journal cited Ms. LeMaster as one of the year’s “winners” for her work on post-trial communications with the Catholic Diocese of Dallas following the $119.6 million judgment in a sexual-abuse lawsuit.

Ms. LeMaster has assisted many clients with issues such as: CEO turnover, death of a top executive, layoffs, sexual harassment, diversity, business combination and mergers and corporate downsizing. In addition, Ms. LeMaster has prepared spokespersons for appearances on 60 Minutes, Nightline, Today, Good Morning America, Dateline, Prime Time Live and other television news programs, as well as interviews with all major publications. Clients also include the National Football League, having “coached the coaches” for several years, Major League Baseball teams, Major League Hockey teams as well as college university sports teams.

During her career, Ms. LeMaster has directed numerous political campaigns including bond issues, gubernatorial communication efforts, mayoral campaigns and charter elections.

Lisa LeMaster was executive editor at KRLD radio in Dallas and helped initiate the all-news format for the station in 1978. Throughout her career, Ms. LeMaster has won numerous awards for her work, including the Women in Communications “Matrix” Award; three Dallas Press Club “Katie” awards; two United Press International Awards; and the Dallas School Administrators Award for Excellence in 1977.


Rick Ericson
Rick Ericson Rick Ericson is Senior Communications Director for The LeMaster Group. Mr. Ericson joined the firm in 1997 and his expertise involves spokesperson training, media relations, crisis communications and litigation communications. He has trained and consulted corporate executives and spokespersons in various fields including airline, banking, chemical, health care, legal, retail, restaurant, technology and law enforcement. Rick has also trained college and professional athletes and coaches how to speak the media language.

Consulting projects include on-going media relations for American Airlines Center, the home of the Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks and crisis communications for two fraternal organizations. Litigation consulting projects include cases involving a gasoline pipeline leak, medical malpractice, sexual abuse and molestation cases, labor issues and litigation involving stock fraud and theft.

Before joining The LeMaster Group, Mr. Ericson was an award winning broadcast journalist in the Dallas/Fort Worth market with 28 years media experience. Rick spent 3½ years as assignments editor at KDFW TV Fox 4 News, and 17 years at KRLD News Radio where he served as a reporter and later as news director. During that time, he produced the Dallas Cowboys Radio broadcasts for 10 seasons.

Rick was an on-site producer for KDFW’s coverage of the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. As news director of KRLD in 1993, he played a dominant role in the station’s extensive coverage of the David Koresh/Branch Davidian standoff near Waco, Texas.

Rick has won three Dallas Press Club “Katie” awards as well as numerous other local, state and national awards for excellence in news reporting including the American Bar Association’s Certificate of Merit.



Suzanne Gentry Flodin
Suzzane Gentry Suzanne Gentry Flodin is an experienced communications professional, specializing in publicity, media relations, special events, speaker placement and working with community groups.

Suzanne understands the power of public relations and works with companies to design, develop and implement the public relations strategy and tactics to communicate the message to one of the most important target audiences: the press.

Suzanne is a results-oriented public relations professional with more than 12 years of experience working with clients large and small, including Texas Instruments, Mapsco, Texas Women's University, Don Pablos Restaurants, la Madeleine, Star Canyon, Salon Pompeo and Luminous Sound, to name a few. In addition, she served as a public relations consultant for HARPO during the Texas Cattlemen vs. Oprah Winfrey trial, working with local, national, and international press.

She has facilitated the placement of hundreds of stories in print, Internet, radio and television media, including Washington Post, Dow Jones Newswires, Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur, Glamour, Gourmet, Southwest Spirit, Saveur, CNN Traveller, CBS This Morning, ABC National Radio, The Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, D Magazine, WFAA, KXAS, KTVT and FOX 4. She has also arranged speaking engagements for clients at chambers of commerce, business organizations and women’s groups across the country.

Suzanne is an experienced community relations liaison for community groups, having made community relations a priority while working with several high-profile clients. With Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, she coordinated and publicized a "Cub Reporter" contest and press event with more than 50 school districts. She coordinated and publicized the 1996 Olympic Torch Run contest and event in Dallas, Plano, and Waco school districts, encouraging students to nominate a teacher to carry the famous torch. In addition, she has developed, coordinated and publicized reading programs, geography bees, science fairs and other special events for clients such as Carson Barnes Circus, Rug Rats Live Adventure, Blue’s Clues Live!, Mapsco and Toyota.

Suzanne's philosophy is to provide the highest level of service to the media, fulfilling their needs in a timely and professional manner, following through on their requests, and, in the process, building strong relationships with media contacts. Deena Killingsworth
Deena Killingsworth Deena Killingsworth is a media relations specialist, writer and special events planner. Ms. Killingsworth has planned and executed media and marketing campaigns for a major Dallas security and event staffing firm, entertainment companies, restaurants and retail stores. Clients include D & L Security Services, D & L Entertainment Services, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Walt Disney’s World on Ice, deBoulle Jewelers and Frazier Fitness.

Prior to becoming a communications consultant, Deena worked in the security and event services business and spent eight years with several high profile Dallas public relations and advertising firms. Her extensive experience, along with a creative thinking process learned from working with leading entertainment companies, allows Deena to coordinate marketing strategies and ensure a successful, cohesive marketing campaign. Deena has worked on campaigns on the local, regional, national and international level and is specially attuned to the regional marketplace.

She is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism-public relations with an advertising emphasis.
